Free-Range Chicken
A classic and versatile protein, chicken is a popular dinner choice in most households. It can be dressed up or down; grilled, smoked or roasted; stir-fried, pan-friend or butterflied; and probably done a hundred other ways, as well.
Our happy birds arrive at our farm as week-old, mixed sex chicks and roam the pasture and orchard until they are eight to 12 weeks old. They help to keep the pests down and to fertilize the plants while supplementing their diet with bugs, grass and seeds.
Fresh or frozen chicken is available throughout the summer and into the fall. Please contact us to order fresh chicken, we will need a few weeks’ notice. Available whole or as individual cuts (breasts, thighs, drums or wings).

Breasts — $8.50/lb
Sometimes available bone-in, skin-on; sometimes available boneless and skinless. If you have a preference, please contact us to put in an order. Two pieces per package.Thighs — $6.50/lb
Bone-in, skin-on. Four pieces per package.Drums — $6.50/lb
Four pieces per package.Wings — $7/lb
1lb packages, usually about 8 wings.
